This season, the dirtier the color, the better. Last year, it was all about navy and dark muted greys. I think teal has replaced navy, while olive has replaced grey (although I still love grey!)
With Flash: Essie Sew Psyched and O.P.I. Ski Teal We Drop
Love!
Two coats of both polishes. These are quite opaque, a great sign for those of you who I know love opaque polishes. I ordered Sew Psyched off of Amazon, and it arrived within two days! This is definitely "good" Essie. The formula is much better than other Essie polishes I own. Both of these are part of the Fall collections (Essie and O.P.I.)
Of course, I have my old standbys:
These will never go out of style
L to R: Essie in Bahama Mama, Sephora by O.P.I. in Meet for Drinks, O.P.I. You Don't Know Jacques!, Sephora by O.P.I. in Metro Chic
What do you girls think of olive and teal on the nails? What are your must have polishes?
I love the teal OPI polish, definitely my next purchase! I bought teal the cows come home but it's nowhere near as pretty.
ReplyDeleteI really want metro chic too but not sure where I can buy it in the UK :( x
I love both of those new fall colors! I definitely need to buy the teal color!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure of the olive ones but that teal looks great on you. I passed up on that on at Ulta but now I am reconsidering. I am still in love with the greys and dark purples are my staple for the fall/winter. Chincilly, You Don't Know Jacques, and Effifel for this Color are my faves!
ReplyDeleteLisa X: I'm sure you can find something similar to Metro Chic Lisa! Just keep an eye out for a dark, dirty grey. It has a hint of plum to it as well.
ReplyDeleteAmanda: Thank you, this teal color is gorgeous!
Mere: You Don't Know Jacques has to be one of the best colors. Ever. I've heard great things about Chinchilly too!
I would have never thought about the Olive tones as well, but it looks great on you! That Ski Teal We Drop will be mine in a day...a MUST for fall. Thanks for sharing :)
