I resisted for months because Chanel anything is pricey, even a bottle of nail polish. Although I was always drawn to its steely blue color, there was so much hype surrounding Black Pearl that I didn't want to give in. How many polishes can one girl own? My collection is pretty large, and it's not something I'm proud of. I convinced myself that I didn't need this. However, I finally gave in to Chanel. And you know what? I'm happy I did =)

Do any of you own Black Pearl, or any other Chanel polish?
Happy Weekend!

  3. Marie: Lotus Rogue, is that a red color? I love the names!

Natasha: Orange fizz is so pretty! If Chanel polish was less expensive, I'd own them all ;)

  4. I don't have any Chanel polishes but you're starting to make me question why! Love this color!

  7. Natasha: I feel the same way, except I stayed away because of the hefty price tag. I feel bad enough buying a nine dollar bottle of OPI. But 25 plus tax for Chanel? Crazy! I will say the quality is beautiful though and I love the color range.

    Marie: Pretty!

Katie: You can borrow mine whenever =)

    Ashley: Thank you

  8. Hahaha, yup! I bought into the Chanel Black Pearl hype too. I like it, and I can see why others love it, but Pearl Drop is a lot more "me". I want to try Peche Nacree next!

  12. I'm glad you bought it! You clearly really wanted it, and in those cases, it's better to just give in. It's a very pretty color btw!

  14. Alee: Yes, I used the Seche Vite top coat, which always makes my nails look super shiny. Thank you for following, I will check yours out!

Marie: Thank you, I did want it so badly! I just need to stop buying so much nail polish. It's really addicting!

Hazel: Thank you =) Yes, anything Chanel is an investment.

I tagged your blog for an "8 most worn" post - would love to read your answers:

  17. I recently purchased (from the same collection) the Pearl Drop (white/cream color) and I like it - not totally in love - but I am holding out for the Chanel RIVA polish from resort... although, I need to justify spending the $$ on a nail polish (when it = a shirt at H&M)!

  18. Ella: I will be doing that tag tomorrow =) Thank you again for thinking of me.

    Witoxicity: Thank you!

In Pursuit of Style: The Pearl Drop does look very pretty. I kept glancing at it while I was at the counter. I won the Riva polish from Closet Full of Nothing's Blog, and I love it for Spring and Summer! So technically I did own a Chanel polish before Black Pearl, but this one I actually paid for ;)
