Nordstrom brand houndstooth scarf
screams Winter and I've always wanted a scarf in a houndstooth print
Hue leggings from Nordstrom
Super thick, comfy, and warm. They are quite long on me, but if they are folded under, scrunched, or covered by boots, they work just fine.

The site is down so I apologize that I can't link this pretty sweater scattered with sequins. I got it in the petite sizing, 50% off

Again, no link but I tried it on in-store and this leopard print is really pretty and more sophisticated than some I've seen. I will most likely wear it to a Christmas party my fiance's work is hosting next weekend.
Now for the sad face: I ordered this pretty clutch from Lodis last week, in the burgundy color. Well I got a call today informing me that the burgundy is sold out and discontinued. I will be refunded, but am still bummed. The color would have been perfect for the season! I am still tempted by the black, but am on the fence.
Did you girls brave the sales? What did you get?

hi! I have a question regarding ur previous post on lipsticks. I want to try a Mac lipstick and wanted to know which one you would recommend. I want one that can be used everyday and is on the natural side. Should I stick with MAC or go with Revlon?
ReplyDeletedreamer637: Hi! I have to say, I love Revlon very much as a drugstore brand. But nothing beats MAC lipsticks in my humble opinion! A good everyday, wearable lipstick that I think would suit any skin tone would definitely be Viva Glam V. It is slightly mauve in tone, but it enhances the look of your natural lips very well. I also recommend Hug Me because it is natural as well. If you have lighter skin like I do, I also personally wear See Sheer ( a soft red) and Shy Girl ( a peachy nude). I really hope this helps! I would love to know what you end up picking, even if I didn't list it ;) Let me know.
ReplyDeleteOh by the way, L'oreal Fairest Nude is very natural too and may be a good option.
Awww. Sucks when they discontinue good stuff. The legging looks nice - good buy.

ReplyDeleteI bought some stuff from LOFT as well...we will see what I'm keeping once my order arrives...50% off was a pretty sweet deal and hard to resist! I also bought a similar houndstooth scarf from Ann Taylor outlet recently...looks like you made some great purchases!
ReplyDeleteI really like the Hue leggings. Great find.
ReplyDeleteLove the sequin top and the cardi.
ReplyDeleteI went to a few stores on Friday afternoon but couldn't last long. On Saturday I got a few things, some stores still had great sales.
I love the houndstooth!! Such a fun graphic pattern for winter! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the super-thick leggings - it's so cold here now, I want a pair! Also loving the shimmery sweater - we have such similar tastes - I really want a sweater like that for this winter too!
ReplyDeletelove the thick leggings! I need a few pairs ;)
ReplyDeleteGirlie Blogger: Thank you!
ReplyDeleteTara: I was so happy to see everything half off! I got both the cardi and the sweater top for less then the price of just one! Great deals at Loft, and I cannot wait to get my goodies in the mail.
Just another shopaholic: I love the quality of hue leggings, much better than my cheapie Target and F21 pairs.
Lilly: The sale season has begun!
Natasha: Thank you, I love the print! So fun with blazers or peeking out from a coat.
Ella: Thank you, we do have very similar style ;)
Alicia: I need more too!
I online-shopped this weekend - most of my Christmas shopping is done, so I finished that up. I knew if I went to the mall I'd buy waaay too much : )
ReplyDeleteI AM adding those Hue leggings to my wishlist - they look super warm for winter!
Great new buys Noelle! Can't wait to see you rock them.
ReplyDeleteI did most of my shopping from the comfort of my home, which is ideal :)
Lauren K: That's a nice feeling to have all of your Christmas shopping done! Good job! The hue leggings are great quality.
ReplyDeleteAndi: That's the best way to endure the crazy crowds. I can't stand crowds! I get so anxious ;)
Gorgeous!
