Wearing:
Express strapless dress
Loft sweater (check stores)
Gifted necklace

I was feeling a bit bi-polar clothing wise on Sunday. What to wear, what to wear...It was cloudy and a bit windy, but for some reason I had dresses on the brain so I decided to wear a strapless one. With a sweater! I've seen lots of beautiful inspiration photos on pinterest. I never would have thought to layer this way. Blazers and open cardigans are typically a go-to over a dress, but I've never considered a regular pullover. Although I'm not sure this totally worked on me (I'm thinking a cropped sweater would have been more flattering on my shape), I did like the overall casual vibe. Especially paired with flats, it's a great alternative to just plain old jeans when you're winding down from the weekend.

  5. Yes, I agree! Pullover sweaters over dresses are the best! Layering options are endless with the right dresses! And that bag is fab!

  7. The weather in California has been so bipolar! I understand what you mean when you said it's hard to figure out what to wear. Wearing dresses as skirts is such an easy and fun way to layer clothing.

  8. Ahhh...I really want that bag. It is so cute and looks just the right size. Not too big, not too small. Plus the leopard is a nice, subtle, neutral print, not too loud or garish. What good find. I hope you have a nice, relaxing weekend!
