I must say, I picked up this pretty floral skirt while popping into Loft for something entirely different and I am loving this impulse buy. I really try to avoid buying things on impulse because that has led to some poor judgement in the past. But this printed skirt was a must-have. I've been needing more prints in my wardrobe, and it seems to be very versatile. I dressed it up for Friday night, but I can easily see myself wearing it with sandals or flats and a simple white tee.
So pretty! Blue looks great on you.

Blue looks stunning on you! That skirt is gorgeous and is going to be soooo versatile!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue floral skirt on you! And I know what you mean, it took me a while to venture off to different locations besides our place. I still have moments where I don't want to venture far and take them in the backyard. haha.. baby steps! ;) I've gotten used to the onlookers stares and points. :P

I have a very hard time taking pics in public places for similar reasons! Thankfully the apartment has a hidden area right outside our front door!

I am the exact same way! The other day somebody sat in his truck and watched me the whole time (I was in the Home Depot parking lot and it was a worker who was on break). I just wanted to yell at him to leave me alone. lol. You look so cute! Pretty skirt!

I absolutely feel the same way about pictures! I always get nervous and my husband tells me not to worry. I wonder if it will ever feel comfortable? You look gorgeous in this look. I love everything about floral right now. That ring is awesome too!

Totally love the skirt, the print is gorgeous! And I hear you on pictures...we totally got kicked out of my favorite location last weekend by security lol...it was the back of an office building!
ReplyDeleteHee hee, I am laughing at all the comments here about on-location shoots. What's funny is that this generation is SO photo happy it really shouldn't be a big deal. I see people constantly taking pictures of everything, everywhere. Onlookers probably think you're just posing next to the scenery, not taking an outfit photo. Not that I have room to comment on how "easy" it is to take pictures outside! (P.S. Love the outfit - the skirt and ring are killer!)

That is such a beautiful skirt - it was made for you!
ReplyDeleteI've gotten a bit better about talking pictures - but I do feel that I always look anxious when hubby is taking photos (probably also because I'm keeping an eye on the kids too LOL!)...when Elaine and I got together to take photos for our LOFT posts, it was much more relaxed - I guess because we were both taking turns being photographer! And also - not many people were around!
Thank you ladies! At least I'm not alone here! Some bloggers appear so comfortable in front of the camera, but I'm not one of them. I guess practice helps. The more we do it the easier it gets ;)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that skirt - I've been lusting after the dress in that print.
ReplyDeleteI actually feel more awkward taking photos in my yard where my neighbors can see than I do in public, at least those people are strangers, haha.
