Wearing //
Banana clutch, similar

You've already seen this top from Banana Republic in a previous post, and I loved it so much that I had to get it in olive as well. It's one of those finds that you want in every color! I try not to get multiples of things unless they are basic enough to dress up and down, and will be worn often. Considering I ripped off the tag as soon as this arrived on my doorstep, I think my choice was correct! I can't wait to layer it with a jacket, cardigan, or blazer. But listen, it'll be a long time before I can do that. We don't have seasons here, just Summer and Winter. So while some of you ladies dust off your boots and indulge in pumpkin spice lattes this month, I'll still be showing off my pedicure and chugging iced tea while I'm sweating in my car.

I titled this because I was going to wear something similar for the rewardstyle master class in San Diego, but I couldn't get the time off from work. It pained me to retract my invite, not because I was hoping to learn more about the business of blogging, but because I wanted to connect with people (and see my friend of course). Gina told me it was much more personal than last year's, so I experienced major FOMO. Just call me the master class dropout. There's always next year, right? I hope.

Happy September!

  2. I am always so bummed none of these classes happen anywhere near Tulsa, OK. #notcoolenough LOVE that top! It looks so good on you. Totally worth a multiple. Your lave up flats are amazing too. Such a good look!

  3. Noelle - I love this shade of olive on you. It does great things for your complexion :) And also loving the flats. Did you put a little review on them before? If not, are they comfy?

I live in Ottawa, Canada and I will still not put on boots until it drops to closer to zero :) and we actually have extreme versions of every season. I never understood the rush of fashion world to start fall in late August. It's summer till Sept 21st and it should be treated as such ;)

    1. Thank you! You are always so honest, and I really love that! I always look forward to your comments :)

I plan on doing a review of the flats on Thursday, but I will say now that they are very comfortable and I don't regret paying 50 USD for them. I do have a gripe though albeit slight: the laces tend to come undone after a bit of wear.

  4. You are the sweetest. Thanks for the shout-outs, and I am so sad too that you couldn't! And so bummed that we can't meet up with Caryl this weekend either. I think it's the "so close but so far away" feeling that makes it worse!! I do love your olive and leopard combo and love how it was so coincidentally perfect with the IG style challenge today!

  5. Aw, too bad you couldn't make it! I missed a similar rStyle class they had in Vancouver as well. Hopefully there will be another one soon! And I am so intrigued by those Topshop flats. I love the Aquazurra ones but they are always out of stock. Plus Topshop is considerably cheaper... are they comfy?

    1. Yes, they are very comfortable Alison! I am going to review them on Thursday here if you'd like to check back! The only thing I've noticed is that the laces loosen up after awhile. But I love them to pieces!

  6. I know what you mean about FOMO for blogging events - especially when there's a chance to learn things and hang out with fun people. But you're right - there's always another opportunity ;-)

Olive really does look beautiful on you...and I just love your BR clutch - I bought it but returned it because I already owned a leopard clutch, but everytime I see yours I think I should have kept mine LOL!

    1. I forgot you returned it! I almost did the same because I was still craving the Clare V clutch! Honestly, I still do want that one because it looks so luxurious but then I guess I would have to pass this one along! I'm on the fence ;) Maybe you should get one too!
