Who's ready for Fall? I have my hand raised, although it will be quite some time before the temperatures cool down here in SoCal. I mentioned in my last post that the end of Summer/beginning of Fall is when I recommend adding in some fresh pieces. You don't have to spend a ton of money or buy a whole new wardrobe in order to update your look into the current season. In fact, most of my favorites are workhorses that I've had for years.

Today, I'm sharing some shoes that I recently bought with Fall in mind. You guys know I live in flats as I find that they are not only comfortable, but also practical.

I was unsure about the mule trend for the better part of Spring and Summer, but after trying this pair on last week, I asked myself what the hesitation has been. I think the trend is acquired. You either love it or you hate it I guess. I went from hate to love as soon as I found some that had more of a point at the toe. They look just as chic as regular flats, and are just as comfortable. In a neutral shade, I guarantee they will get plenty of wear.

I ordered these nude flats after seeing them on a fellow blogger from San Diego, and I'm so glad that I did. I try my best to avoid the whole "a blogger made do it" thing, but hey! I'm a reader of other blogs too and when something is good, I have to give in sometimes. Plus, I've been in the market for a pair of nude shoes and these have such a pretty detail.

I also ordered these last week and am waiting not so patiently for them to arrive. So between two pairs of flats and a classic pair of pumps, my new Fall shoe collection is complete...I think 😉

Next week, I'll share more of my new Fall pieces. Are there any new shoes on your radar?  Do tell!

  2. I have last year's version of those blush pumps and they get SO much wear - the shade goes with anything and they are actually pretty comfortable :)

    1. Thank you Veronica, I'm happy to hear that you own a pair and find them comfortable. I don't buy/wear heels that often (I've had most of my pumps for years and just wear them over and over) so when I do decide I like a pair enough, I get them right away. The color is what sold me on these, although I do remember last year that I eyed them in burgundy ;)
