The weekend is always cause for celebration, and what better way to show it than by wearing tons of sparkle! I used to save my glittery pieces for nighttime, but I find that wearing them in the day is a bit more unexpected and chic. When the light hits just right, the effect is almost ethereal. The earrings and the flats are both recent treasures, and I'm a very happy girl about that.

Another weekend uniform for you guys! As much as I love wearing dresses and skirts, and as fortunate as we are to have such beautiful weather year-round here in California, there's nothing as sleek looking as a great pair of jeans and a feminine top. Polka dots are so easy to wear with just about anything, so I decided to punch up this Loft blouse with some vibrant pumps in my favorite shade of blue (naturally).

P.S. - I scored this top on mega sale at Loft this past week. It was only 17 dollars! I suggest checking it out at your local store, as they have so many great things on their discount racks right now.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Valentine's day! As I said in my last post, husband and I went out to dinner at this quaint little Italian restaurant that we had never tried before. We had a caprese salad, veggie neopolitan-style pizza, tiramisu, and champagne that the owner's wife sent over to our table :) The night was perfect. 

What made it even better was the dress I wore. This red rose H&M Garden Collection dress is undoubtedly my favorite piece in my wardrobe. As silly as it may sound, it makes me feel like Carrie Bradshaw. I've only worn it twice, and both on very special occasions. The first time on our trip to New York City. The second time on the night that Nate proposed to me in Las Vegas. So Friday night was the third appearance of my beloved red dress. Who knows when it will come out to play again, but I'm hoping it's sooner rather than later! Until then...
