When it comes to fun, trendy baubles, Forever 21 is THE destination. I love how inexpensive it all is, and even though you get what you pay for (by this I mean the quality isn't always the best), it's fun to experiment and play without breaking the bank and feeling guilty. Here are some of my picks, all of which are currently on their website:

Owls are everywhere this season!

These are gorgeous. I love the look of white and gold, so chic. I normally wear studs, but I want these.

I recently bought these, and I have been wearing them quite a bit.

I love the look of layered necklaces. Pearls will always be classic, whether they're real or not!

This ring has a Tiffany&Co look...at only $1.50, it doesn't have a Tiffany's price!

Such a statement. I also recently purchased this. Love at first sight.

My great-grandmother wore cameos all the time. As you can see, I love the retro vibe that's dominating many of the trends this Fall.

What's your take on mass stores like Forever 21 and H&M offering affordable, trendy jewelry?

And everyone knows it!

Exhibit A:

Yup, my name is Noelle and I'm (obviously) addicted to Starbucks. Or is it coffee? No, I think it's actually Starbucks. I swear they put a little extra somethin' in their drinks. My birthday was yesterday and some friends treated me to ungodly amounts of money via gift cards. They're the best!

Happy Birthday to my fellow Virgos out there! I had a wonderful time at a day spa with the bf. I wanted to take pictures because the place was gorgeous, but I realized too late that I forgot to pack my camera ;) I do that a lot.

It was so relaxing! I hope everyone had a great weekend ♥

As much as I loved playing with my lightened locks this Summer, there was still a huge part of me that missed being a full brunette. Having my hair so close to my own natural color is just easier - no roots, no brassiness, no worries! And, it's much less expensive than living at the hair salon to get touch-ups. Do I regret going a little lighter? Not at all. It was a good change from my normal routine. But, I just feel more like myself again.

This morning: No more highlights! It's all just one shade of chocolate brown. (It's actually quite a bit darker in natural lighting. The salon lights are deceiving)

I like the dark side ;)

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!
To those going out later this evening for Fashion's Night Out...I'm envious! Have a great time! I wish I could be in New York City to partake in all the fashion week craziness. Keep us posted!

As much as I love the fun, fluorescent nails of Summer, there is nothing that looks as rich and glamorous than the darker hues of Fall and Winter. I love looking down at my hands and seeing shiny wine colored finger tips as the backdrop for a giant cocktail ring.

This season, the dirtier the color, the better. Last year, it was all about navy and dark muted greys. I think teal has replaced navy, while olive has replaced grey (although I still love grey!)

With Flash: Essie Sew Psyched and O.P.I. Ski Teal We Drop

Love!

Two coats of both polishes. These are quite opaque, a great sign for those of you who I know love opaque polishes. I ordered Sew Psyched off of Amazon, and it arrived within two days! This is definitely "good" Essie. The formula is much better than other Essie polishes I own. Both of these are part of the Fall collections (Essie and O.P.I.)

Of course, I have my old standbys:
These will never go out of style
L to R: Essie in Bahama Mama, Sephora by O.P.I. in Meet for Drinks, O.P.I. You Don't Know Jacques!, Sephora by O.P.I. in Metro Chic

What do you girls think of olive and teal on the nails?  What are your must have polishes?

Happy Labor Day Readers! I hope everyone is enjoying the last days of Summer and taking advantage of the long holiday weekend.

I fell in love with this lacy, vintage looking top when I first saw it on Chloe's blog a few weeks back. I ran to Charlotte Russe the very next day and loved it even more in person. Since then, I've seen it featured on several blogs. I was hesitant to post an outfit because let's face it, you all have seen it! But I love it so much that I just have to. It has become one of my favorite things to wear and the boyfriend loves it, which is always a plus.

The Clothes:
Lace Top - Charlotte Russe. I couldn't find it online anymore, but it might still be in stores.
Skinny Jeans - Express, purchased ages ago.
Quilted Nude Heels - Zara
Tan Clutch - Jessica Simpson from TJ-Maxx
All Jewelry - Forever 21
Nail Polish - OPI in You Don't Know Jacques!

The Urban Decay Naked Palette!

I finally nabbed one last night! I remember a couple of months back, I asked one of the salespeople at Macy's to call me if they ever received any more shipments in. I was hesitant when this palette first debuted; yes, it was beautiful and practical, but how many neutral eyeshadows does one girl really need? I'm not really a collector of makeup, as many beauty bloggers are. I buy things I know will get a lot of use. So I held off and held off until I decided I couldn't pass one up. Once I realized I wanted one, they were no where to be seen. That is, until I got the phone call at work yesterday afternoon. It was the day from Hell at work, and this was such a pleasant surprise! By the time I got to my Macy's after rush hour traffic, their shipment had been completely depleted again. All that remained was the one put on hold for me.

I won't bother to do swatches, since I think everyone has seen millions of them by now. But this leaves me with a question for you: Why do we want what we can't have? I find myself constantly trying to keep up with various new releases in the makeup world, and you know what? It's exhausting! I just wanted to know what your thoughts are on this phenomenon! ♥ Noelle
