I've received so many requests asking about my upcoming wedding. I truthfully don't have much to tell you girls. My fiance' and I are just enjoying that wonderful feeling of being engaged!

Here are some things we do know:

1. We haven't set a date, but we do plan on waiting about a year and a half. Once we do set a date, we want to make sure that we have plenty of time to plan our dream wedding.

2. So, our dream wedding combines two things: romance and fun. We don't want to put on some huge production that doesn't feel like us. It's all about celebrating our relationship, so we want our friends and family to feel at home and we want them to walk away from it saying, "wow, that was so them." Make sense?

3. Ideally, we want to get married on or by the ocean. I'm not yet certain what that entails because I haven't started doing any research but my fiance' and I love the beach. We definitely want to get married outdoors.

4. I want lots of flowers and candles at the reception. A lot!

5. I want a very simple yet elegant dress. Strapless would be nice, with maybe a sweetheart neckline.

That's really all I can think of at the moment! Although this engagment has been a long time coming, it still feels like a whirlwind for me. I'm very happy and excited, but also really nervous about planning a wedding. I would seriously appreciate any advice you may have, as I know many of you girls are married :)
Tell me, what do I really need to know?

There are so many Fall lists going around, that I decided to do my own. Here are just a few things that are inspiring major wear time for me this season.

1.
Colorful bib necklaces
Purple: F21  Orange: H&M  White & Cream: Francescas Collections

2.

Nail colors that serve as conversation starters
Chanel: Graphite   OPI: Crown Me Already  OPI: Dating a Royal

3.

Snagging this gorgeous Missoni for Target scarf.

4.

My friend wore a beautiful burnt orange blouse by Gibson last weekend. I wanted it so badly!
I went to Nordstrom to try it on earlier this week, but it wasn't very petite friendly so the SA suggested this one by Bellatrix.
I am in L-O-V-E with all of the big pussybow blouses this season.

5.

Of course this is my absolute favorite :)

What are your Fall favorites? Please tell me!

Sweater - Express, Tank - H&M, Necklace - F21, Jeans - Banana Republic, Pumps - J. Crew (love!)

Although the Fall season has officially begun, my neck of the woods is still feeling steamy. Once a girl who wished for endless Summers, I now am seething at this possibility. I can no longer grin and bear it dressed in sandals and flowy tanks. I want little jackets and chiffon blouses! I want suede, lace, and faux fur! I want to enjoy my plethera of cardigans and my plaid coat from last year!
I just want sweater weather.

Does it feel like Fall where you live? If so, I am envious. Enjoy it for the both of us.

It's been a long time since I posted one of these! Rest assured my cosmetic buying tendencies are still in full bloom, despite my strong desire to keep my collection from bursting at the seams. You all know what I'm working with after showing you my makeup collection. It's managable, right?!

While in Vegas, I had to stop at Inglot. It's a very elusive and hard to find brand. I was mainly interested in their eyeshadows:

I really like their system. You choose the eyeshadows you want from their giant selection of testers. Once you are finished, the MUA grabs you your new eyeshadows and a magnetic case to insert them into. I love the case, but I cannot for the life of me get the shadows out! Does anyone know how?

The first two have shimmer in them, the last three are all matte. Pigmented and smooth, they blow MAC shadows out of the water.
To further prove my love, my friend is a new makeup artist and she is going to get me two more Inglot shadows when she goes to the location at Fashion Island.

I fell hard for Chanel's Fall collection. After buying nail polish in Peridot and Graphite (currently on my fingers and not taking it off), I went back for one of their illusion d ombre eyeshadows.

This one is a khaki green color that leans silver in certain lighting. It is called Epatant.
The texture is almost like a mousse, but it has a lot of spring and bounce to it. It feels wet when first swatched, but then morphs into a metallic powder. Very hard to truly describe! The wear is incredible, even without a primer. No creasing and no fall out. Chanel is always pricey, but I highly recommend these.

Have you tried anything new lately? I think my love for makeup is back in full swing!
