Hey girls, I need some fashion advice on something: I recently bought a couple pairs of leggings, and I have no idea how to wear them. I have avoided this trend for a couple years now, but I gave in and now I have a black pair and also a pair that sort of looks like dark denim. They were cheap, so I don't necessarily feel guilty about getting them and having them sit in my closet. However, I really do want to feel comfortable and confident in them! I know leggings are not pants, so I want to make sure I don't feel too exposed.
So how do you girls wear them? What do you think of the trend in general? I think they are here to stay, especially this time of year. Your advice is greatly appreciated and honest opinion much needed
Thanks!
girl you can wear them however you want, last night i went to church and i wore them with a dress and some black boots. you could wear a flannel top and wear the leggings to go with it, you can wear them with a skirt, with shorts it whatever you like and makes you feel good and gorgeous, mama make your own trend! =]
ReplyDeleteThe cool thing about leggings is that you can go for a casual look or a little bit more dressed up. Tunics are basically really short dresses, and go perfectly with leggings. Sweater dresses are also a good option. You can ever wear a really long t-shirt with your leggings and some cute boots and that would look great too. Leggings are so versatile and they're a LOT of fun so don't be scared to go a little crazy!
ReplyDeleteHaha I just had the same issue but I ended up returning my pair of leggings that I got. I just didn't know what to wear with them because they were brown. I didn't really have anything that matched with them. I had wanted black but they were out of the black. I had also seen some dark denim looking ones too but they were too big. I might still get some black ones, we'll see. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think leggings look great with boots and longer tops. I think the key with legging-modesty is to make sure you cover the area that could turn 'camel toe' on you...apart from that I think that you can just wear them like you would skinny jeans.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice lovelies! I think i'm ready to rock 'em now =)
