Now that Spring is literally knocking on my door, I've come to the realization that I can almost kiss Wintertime goodbye! Anyone who knows me will atest to the fact that I'm not a cold weather girl. I'm happiest outside in the sun, wearing little dresses and sandals. My beauty routine is much easier in the Spring and Summer. I don't have to worry as much about chronic dry skin and static-prone hair. However, because I'm a beauty addict, I will admit that I'll miss Winter. I can pile things on more freely in the colder temperatures. Here are the products that I was happy to pile on my face and body over the past three months:

My skin gets so dry and itchy during Winter! This Vaseline lotion helped immensely. As soon as I got out of the shower, I slathered this on my arms and legs.

I know. The Naked palette has been so-very-popular on the blogs, that I'm sure everyone is rolling their eyes at mere mention of it. But, I wore this almost every single day. I still do. My faves? Virgin, Sin, Buck, and Toasted.

Bella Bamba blush by Benefit, a pretty watermelon that brightened my pale skin.

I wore a lot of bright or red lipstick this season. I'm so happy that colorful lips are still on trend for Spring/Summer. More on that in an *upcoming post*

Sugar Rose Lip Treatment by Fresh. This feels as smooth as buttah. Look at how much I have left? I'm so sad =(  I think next time I'll try the regular clear shade.

I became very aware of my skin concerns and needs. I SWORE by Philosophy's Microdelivery mini peel pads. I only used them once a week, but my skin's texture really improved. I also SWORE by Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. It's so rich and moisturizing. These products will still be with me in the upcoming months. Maybe forever!

Other than these staples, I mixed and changed products seamlessly, which is mostly because I am trying to use what I already own. I am so excited for Spring!

What did you use frequently over Winter? What are you looking forward to using come Spring?

  5. Mere, Natasha, and V: I don't think I could ever be without this! Scary to say, since it's expensive for a lip balm. But I've never tried such a truly moisturizing lip treatment, and it really works! Love the SPF too.

Natasha: Really? It's by Urban Decay, and it's highly sought after since it's constantly sold out everywhere! I love the neutral shades of course =)

Fashion Ice: Thank you! I Love bright shades, a recent beauty occurence as I used to only wear natural colors on my lips.

  7. Ahhh, so ashamed, I don't even have the Naked palette. I love spring and summer as well, I love being tan and wearing minimal makeup. Winter is definitely a lot more maintenance.. bring on the warm weather!

  8. I want the Naked palette, but it's sold out on Sephora's website, at least yesterday it was. I'm going to Sephora on Friday and I'm keeping my fingers crossed they have one. Also, I love the peel pads too!

  10. I really want to try the FRESH sugar lip treatment - I tried the Bath & Bodyworks version but it was no good. I'm a Kiehl's avocado devotee too - and Michelle Phan featured it in her last skincare video!

I've been piling on my Neutrogene Oil-free moisture - it gets rid of the dry flaky feeling from my Benzyl Peroxide medicine - but doesn't break me out. I'll be using it with a lighter touch in warmer weather.

  11. I am so sick of winter too, my skin is horrible right now, its super dry, yet when i use thick creams I get little bumps, no matter how much lotion I use on my body nothing helps much haha, I almost miss having oily skin in the summer its easy to deal with oil than dryness. I have been interested in those microdelivery pads for awhile I am just worried they might turn my skin red, I love regular purity, but the purity wipes burn me so thats why I worry the pads would be worse.

  13. Becky: You almost gave in, but didn't? Well good for you Becky for sticking to your guns! I don't blame people for skipping it. Sometimes too much hype ruins the product!

Cupcake Couture: Awww, don't be ashamed! It's a great palette to have, but it isn't the end of the world if you don't =)

Southern Domestic Bliss: I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I hope you get one!

Sylvia: Thank you! I'll be posting that probably next week sometime.

Ella: Yes, I'm so happy I found that eye cream! It's made such a difference around my eyes. I use it under my concealer as well. I also love Neutrogena products. I've been using Neutrogena since I was a teenager, and still think it's the best drugstore skin care brand, especially for oily or acne prone skin.

Jennifer: Oh no! I'm unsure if the pads would affect your skin or not. They might, because they do contain lactic acid that tingles a bit upon use. Maybe try going to a Philosophy counter and asking the MUA what she recommends?

Andi: Awwww, I'm so happy you love it as much as we do!
