Lace top - Charlotte Russe (last year), Nude cami & mustard skirt - F21, Quilted peep toe pumps - Zara, Necklaces - Express & J Crew, Rings - Charlene K. & Engagement ring, Earrings - F21, Bag (not shown) - Chanel, Nails - Essie Cocktail Bling (love!)

I am obsessed with mustard. Not a color I've always liked, but I gravitate towards it a lot now. I think it's part of the whole autumn color palette I'm loving. I also think that it's a safe option since it is very close to neutral, and this skirt from Forever 21's love 21 line actual borders on camel in certain light. Chain necklaces, sparkly rings, and feminine lace were a natural pairing in deciding what to wear with this hot mustard skirt.

What color are you gravitating towards?

  1. I love mustard too - I have a mustard belt from F21 which is a lovely pop of color. I'm also tempted by a mustard boyfriend cardigan but don't know if it will look that flattering near my face.

Love your quilted heels and lace shirt - so elegant!

  5. Ella: I think a mustard cardi or sweater would look great on you! Usually when I'm hesitant about a certain color, trend, or print, I start with an accessory and then once I get brave enough I go for more :)

Lilly & Natasha: Thank you girls!

Sarah: Thank you, I know you'll find one! I'm seeing lots of Autumn shades everywhere in stores.

Just need to find the perfect skirt :) Love the combo of mustard and lace...and yes, I'm a huge fan of the F21 Love line. I've spotted some beautiful pieces this year. 10. Thank you girls :)

Andi: I was reading the same posts I think ;) I have seen many bloggers wearing mustard or bright yellow!

Tasha: Oooo, I also love cobalt as well! Jewel tones in general are gorgeous for this time of year. I am not sure if I've seen the latest, but when I was in there a couple of weeks ago, I was really happy with the overall selection.

  14. Great outfit! You look very pretty. I tend to gravitate toward deep purple and brick red in the cooler months. I don't know how popular they are fashion-wise, but I do like them a lot.
