Every so often, I get a craving. A really good, strong one. I try to talk myself out of it, but the feeling overtakes me, and before I know it, I'm pulling up to the mall parking lot. Handbag over the shoulder, keys in hand, I head into Macy's and make a beeline for the M.A.C. counter. This recent trip consisted of eyeshadows and lip products, the best kind of makeup shopping in my opinion. At least the most enjoyable.

Innocence Beware and Dish it Up came out with the most recent collection. The first is a creamy pink/nude, the latter a gorgeous pinky plum. Innocence Beware has a creamsheen finish, while Dish it Up is a lustre. Both are opaque.

I was curious to try a plushglass that I kept hearing so much about.

Besides the cutesy name, Fashion Fanatic is a delicious shade of baby pink. It looks gorgeous layered on top of Innocence Beware, and that is the combination I have favored most lately. It feels minty, which I like. I've never been much of a lip plumping fan, as they sit uncomfortably on my lips. I become panicked seconds later, wondering why anyone would deliberately PAY to feel as if they've poured a bottle of hot sauce on their mouth.
No worries here. This one only tingles slightly.

I showed my new eyeshadows last week, but here they are with the rest of my palette. For reference -
Top Row: Naked Lunch, Dazzlelight, Woodwinked, Soba, Sable
Middle Row: Twinks, Sketch, Copperplate, Jest, Grain
Bottom Row: Phloof

I still have four coveted slots left! What other shades must I get? Do share in the comments!

Obviously I'm a neutral girl. Just in case you had any doubts :)

  2. For neutrals, I recommend Satin Taupe, Nylon and Ricepaper. I totally know what you mean about the lure of the MAC counter ;)

  5. Girl I am right there with u and a mac addiction! I need a MAC palette ASAP. I just gave up buying makeup for lent.. such a hard thing to do!!! You have some great colors - one of my favorites is Soft Brown - really good blending/crease color similar to sable.

  6. You definitely need to try Shroom. It's the most amazing highlight. Perfect for your inner corner or just an all over the lid colour without looking to glittery. I prefer it over Phloof and Naked Lunch any day!!

    1. Hi Sara! I actually own shroom and use it as a highlight almost every day - unless I grab for my UD Naked palette. I agree that it's the perfect highlight! Not too shimmery, just a nice overall sheen and soft finish. Besides this MAC palette, I also own some single shadows in the pot. I guess I should have mentioned those ;) Thank you for commenting!

  7. I have about 15 items to "back to mac" and I'm still trying to decide which lipstick, gloss or eyeshadow to pick up. I'm more of a foundation, mascara and bronzer type of person. I'm so picky! lol

    1. Ooo, 15 items is good! That's so funny that we are total opposites when it comes to the items we enjoy shopping for. I like shopping for basically any and all makeup but bronzer, foundation, and mascara are things I put off until I am in desperate need of them!

  8. I have a love/hate relationship with those cravings. Lately mine has been bathing suits and shoes (not cheap items either haha) Some of my favorite Mac colors are Haux, Brûlée, and Wedge. I also love a white/creamy iridescent but I cannot think of the name at all! I'll keep you posted haha.

    1. I don't think I know what Haux looks like, so I'll have to check that one out!

  10. Love the look of Innocence Beware - such a pretty shade. I've never tried a MAC plushglass before - am curious to see how I'd like them...I have LipFUSION glosses (which are meant to be super plumping) but I've never really noticed a plumping effect.

    1. I think plumping glosses are kind of a gimmick, but I know so many people who swear they really work. I think any gloss or shiny lip color makes your lips appear fuller ;)

  11. I love your picks Noelle, so beautiful! I can definitely see you love neutrals. I like charcoal brown and soft brown would be great additions for you, maybe Quarry as well! xo

    1. Thank you Andi! I'll look into those! So many girls use charcoal brown as a brow powder/filler so I think that one be great because of it's versatility.
