I'm a neutral girl at heart. I don't think I ever wore much color back in high school or college, unless it came in the form of a pretty party dress from Express. I remember going to Las Vegas a few years ago with my best friend. I wore a beautiful bright green chiffon dress. I felt like a million dollars in it. Then I gave it away, and for what justifiable reason I don't know. I miss it! I wish it was still in my possession. Anyway, that's about as colorful as I ever got. Today, I'm much less afraid of color. It really lifts my mood and I think it warms up my complexion. On days when I'm feeling dull, I like to throw on some splashes of color and pepper it into an otherwise neutral palette. I've even changed up my makeup. I was always known for a natural, pinky - nude lip. Now I prefer reds, hot pinks, and plums. I like to see my world in color these days, and not in shades of grey.

Love this outfit - and especially the pops of color! I ordered this bag from J. Crew Factory and am anticipating its arrival! :)

You look great, especially love the top :) I absolutely need those flats, though not sure where I can find them in Canada.
ReplyDeleteI'm the opposite; I've always been into colour and my first lipsticks were red and burgundy. I still like colour but also incorporating more neutrals into my outfit/makeup.
This is a great pop of color with neutrals mix :-) I use to ONLY wear blacks and grays but now have added color and it makes such a difference!
ReplyDeleteLove the neutrals with the bright slashes of blue & pink here. Every time I see those flats I fall more in love, they need to be mine!

ReplyDeleteI love color! Aww do you have a picture of you in your dress? I would love to see it!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I wish I did! I think I have a print somewhere in a storage box, but not completely sure. It was so pretty! Strapless, and in a shade of greenish blue. The color was stunning. So sad I don't have it anymore. If I find the picture, ill post it ;)
DeleteYou look so cute, doll! I love that bag.
