Wearing: Loft sunwashed tee, Old Navy skirt (love this one), Kate Spade bag, Sole Society shoes, Loft belt, Sonya Renee "N" initial necklace
Aside from this gold sequin number, my pleated skirt tops the list of favorite closet pieces. I purchased it last year on mega sale, and I was seriously shocked that it came from Old Navy. I had to have it, despite the fact that it was two sizes too big. It was the perfect shade of hot fuchsia pink. I wore it a few times, but stopped when the elastic around the waist started to twist and bunch up. I couldn't bear to part ways, so it hung sadly in the back of my closet. I made a mental note to have it tailored, but time passed and I just forgot about it altogether. Well I finally had it fixed last week, and it's better than brand new. I'm often lazy about getting clothes tailored, but that's something I desperately need to change. The lady I go to is a miracle worker, so there's really no excuse. It's so worth it!
Oh, and I also finally found my pair of strappy sandals. Nordstrom never fails.
I hope you had a great weekend!

I'm glad you got this skirt tailored coz it looks amazing on you! Such a gorgeous fuchsia shade too....
ReplyDeleteI'm really lazy with tailoring too. Since I dropped two dress sizes, I have about 8 dresses I need to take for tailoring which I still haven't. I'm getting motivated seeing this post though.
Yes, you definitely should as well! It's much more cost effective than buying a new wardrobe! You look great my dear :)
DeleteSo cute! I love the pleats and that color is amazing.
