Wearing:
Gibson blazer
J. Crew necklace (pretty option)
Fossil watch (another Fossil option)

I wish this post was about my bronzed skin, but sadly, I'm as pale and pasty as I've ever been in my life. I thought going to Maui for our honeymoon in September would mean a tan that lasted into Winter, but all traces of the Hawaiian sun are gone and my tan lines are but a distant memory. Note to self: Get a spray tan! I've never had one, but before we head to Vegas in May, I'm almost certain I'll need to try it. Hotel pool patrons will thank me.

Pasty skin aside, my new bronze pumps are making their debut! I've been on the hunt for metallic heels since Christmas time, but I wasn't sure what brand to go with. I popped into Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and spied these snake print beauties on the sale rack. They were under $50 dollars, and they were the last pair. In my size. Such a great score! They are as comfortable as they are pretty, and I love how much dimension the metallic has. In some lighting they look gunmetal, but in direct light they are definitely a golden bronze.  My pointy toe obsession isn't stopping anytime soon. #sorrynotsorry

  2. Finding a pair of fabulous shoes on sale IN YOUR SIZE is like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Those shoes are gorgeous. :) I've never spray tanned either but I am addicted to bottled tans from Jergens... -Gina

  4. Thank you ladies! I know we will see lots of metallics in the coming months, and the bonus is they are so neutral :) Just as neutral as black, but not as boring.

  6. awesome shoes, I totally see what you mean about the dimension of the finish! I never find great shoes left in my size once they go on sale, maybe because I wear a super common size (small 8).

I'm thinking of getting that exact MK bag in cobalt blue. How are you liking yours?

    1. Yes, I highly recommend it! Honestly it's probably my most functional, practical bag. You would love it for work! It carries my whole life. But I also love it for weekends too because it just looks so smart and structured. It's my version of the Hermes or Prada that I can't afford ;) I think you'll love it!
