Because we really don't get a Fall season here in southern California, my way of celebrating this mythical time of year is to wear typically Fall colors. It may be 90 degrees outside, but at least my wardrobe can transition. Not by wearing layers and layers and pretending that I'm not sweating profusely, but by at least painting my nails burgundy to match my new bag (thank you to Gina, Rachelle, Caryl, and Zeba for being the sweet blog friends that they are and getting me a gift card to Express for my birthday). For those of us who don't really get to experience the changing of seasons, I think switching from brights and lighter colors to darker jewel tones is the best way to go.

Is it getting cooler where you live?

  2. Very pretty look. I love the bag and we don't experience "seasons" here much either. Right now the weather is a cool Fall like 86 degrees here in Florida hehe.

  3. Well yay because you just gave me another perfect color pairing combination for this bag! Such a pretty outfit and it really does make the whole outfit say Fall even though it's still perfectly suited to our climate! It has taken me a little bit to figure out how to dress for our fall and I've pretty much ended up in the same place as you. The colors can say fall without dressing in boots and blanket scarves. That's not happening here! LOL.

    1. No, blanket scarves definitely aren't happening! Those are so cute, but not really practical here! Hoping for cooler weather soon, but not counting on it :)

  4. I love your necklace Noelle, I thought they were layered but it's so much better that it is just one. Also loving the naked shoes and the burgundy purse.

Fall is definitely here for us. But it's a warmer one than typical so days and nights are cold but it gets warmer near noon. I'm still in denial though and wearing sandals and sleeveless tops. I will put them away when snow starts falling in a month :P

Snow falling in a month? Gosh, I really can't imagine!

  6. It doesn't feel like fall yet here either. Boo! I've been wearing more fall colors too which is a great way to make myself feel better about it. ;) I love this dress on you. What a flattering neckline.
