Wearing //

The laced up trend is going strong this Summer, and these shoes by Sole Society are my new favorites. It started with lace up flats, then quickly morphed into lace up sandals, and now it's all about lace up heels! These in particular are really comfortable and easy to walk in because the chunky wooden heel is fairly low. I was worried that maybe the laces would untie as I walked, but I wore them for my friend's birthday this weekend and they didn't budge. My only complaint is that they are difficult to lace up at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's fairly easy. You can tie them in the front, but I think they look more flattering tied in the back. I highly recommend a pair if you're curious about the trend. Yes they are a bit out of my comfort zone, but I am doing a lot of things lately that are pushing me to get out of my little bubble. More on that later :)

I hope you have a great Monday! Linking up with Carylee and Rachelle again.

  1. These look gorgeous! I find one benefit of lace up heels is that they're actually more comfy as they firmly hold your foot in place. Can't wait to hear more about pushing out of your comfort zone!

  3. I have this same pair and love them. They look great on you! I never know where to tie them - front or back. Oh the struggle. ;) Your top and skirt are perfect with the shoes.

    1. Hi! The fit is a bit on the small side so I went up half a size. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 depending on the brand or style, and with these I took a 7. Hope that helps!

  5. These sandals are cute, they're different from most lace up sandals I've seen out there.

I'm trying to save up and your posts make it difficult lol!

  7. Love this whole look! Everything from the olive/black/blush combo to the detail on the top and of course, the lace up sandals! You look amazing, and I'm excited for the full scoop on all of the things you're doing outside your comfort zone! And I hope you're feeling better today, too. :)
