The boyfriend and I stayed in City Center while in Vegas. In my opinion, it is THE place to stay. The Aria, Cosmopolitan, and our hotel, Vdara are impeccably decorated with a strong lean towards modern. I loved walking around and taking it all in. I've never been able to afford such nice amenities, but my boyfriend surprised me and went all out!

City Center

View from our room

This was taken looking straight up from the pool. It makes you dizzy!

Our hotel was actually more of a residential area. A lot of people live there. There was no casino and no smoking - two perks for vegas I suppose.

Our room/condo/hunny can we live here?

It was nice having our own kitchen.

Now for some random shots!

making, er, laying out by the pool.

Sparkly flats are good for dancing your booty off all night! Which, we did!

On top of Vegas @ Ghostbar.
The view was surreal. It was actually thundering and there was some rain and lightening too so the staff eventually scooted us all in to the inside of the bar where it was deemed safe. Once it stopped storming, we went back out :)

Mr. silk pajamas himself @ the Playboy club.

Cosmopolitan giant shoe statue!

I mean...

Aria buffet, BEST creme brulee!

We rubbed his belly for good luck

Little story to conclude this post:
We went to Stack (beautiful atmosphere) at the Mirage right after these pictures were taken and I was feeling really anxious and nervous. My heart was racing and I felt like I was going to faint. I could barely even eat my food. So my boyfriend took me over to the Waterfall just outside the restaurant because the sound and feeling of water just calms my nerves. He was rubbing my back and telling me everything was okay and that he loved me.

And then...

He pulled out a ring from his pocket and got down on one knee and proposed to me :)

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

There was a crowd that oohed and ahhed and clapped. I was so stunned! I had no idea he was going to do that! He thought maybe I had an idea but I genuinely didn't, I just have anxiety. Of course I said yes.

I will never forget that my long time love and now fiance asked me to marry him while I was wearing that red rose H&M dress with my beautiful Chanel bag. I know that sounds silly, but those little things do mean a lot.

Pretty eventful birthday vacation, huh?

Hi everyone! I'm back from my trip to Las Vegas and I must admit...I'm sad to be home! I had such an amazing trip. I'll be sure to share more personal pictures of where I stayed and how things went. I have a lot to share!

In the meantime, I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. It really made me smile and I appreciate each and every one of you.

Now, onto my big "fashion dream" reveal. You all guessed it of course.

I ordered these pretties from J Crew and am so happy I did! I woke up to a cardboard box this morning, and instantly knew I had little choice but to tear open the thing like a little kid on Christmas. I teeter between a size 6 1/2 and a 7.  I took Chloe's advice and went with the larger size and my feet thanked me! They feel perfect!

I can't wait to play with them :) Outfits to come...

Happy September!

When I first started my blog, I was obsessed with posts about everyone's makeup collections. I can't believe I have never done one, but then again, I think my collection is rather small in comparison to most I've seen. I have decided to show you mine because for the first time, I'm extremely happy with what I own. I think I have a really good mix of brands and colors. Of course, I always want more when I'm out and about doing some shopping, but I do try to take inventory of what I have before I make a purchase.

This is a clear storage container from WalMart. It sits on a white wooden vanity I got from Target.

Top drawer - blushes, powders, concealer, and my foundation (I still use MUFE Mat Velvet +)

Second drawer - eyeliners, miscellaneous eyeshadows, and a mini UDPP.

Third/Last drawer - Lash curlers, mascara, and other miscellaneous things. Looking at this now, I think I need to organize it more efficiently! I see there is a lot of wasted space!

This is one of my vanity drawers and it holds my eyeshadows as well as my highlight powders

Lip products. The little leopard holder is from TJ Maxx

Makeup palettes. UD Naked is my most used.

Lastly, this drawer holds q tips, makeup removers, moisturizers, and my Sonia Kashuk blending sponge. It is the only way I apply my foundation.

If you have any questions on specific products, feel free to ask!
