Some combinations are just meant for each other. When it comes to dressing up for a night out, black and gold are a match made in heaven. Chic, elegant, and expensive looking. I've been on the look-out for a good LBD, especially with the holiday season coming up. This one with bursts of gold flakes is a great option. Simply throw on a blazer, some glittering gold accessories, and a leather clutch. The outcome is classic.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Wearing: Angle sweater/sweatshirt (similar), Loft jeans, Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC, J Crew pumps (similar)

These pieces are so essential to my Fall wardrobe, so much so that I'm calling it my uniform. There is nothing easier than well-fitting jeans, a pretty sweatshirt, colorful pumps, and a great handbag to get you through almost any occasion. I loved wearing sweatshirts as a kid, but once I graduated college, I vowed to never be seen in one (out in public) again. Or so I thought...now look at me! Of course, the new sweatshirts are much more polished than the old college variety! Expect to see many interpretations of this look throughout the next few months. Are you with me?

On to some new makeup I treated myself to.

All three products have been on my face for a few days now, and I have NOTHING bad to say about any of them.
~ The blush is a gorgeous shade of rose gold that really lifts my complexion. It's not shimmery, but it does offer a very subtle sheen. I've been on the lookout for a good rose gold that still appears natural, and this one is gorgeous!
~ Eye bright serves its purpose. A swipe along my brow bones and in the inner corners of my eyes and I look rested in 5 seconds flat. That's not easy these days either. I think I purchased it because I've grown tired of wearing eye shadow during the week. I just don't have the desire to do a full face before work, so this is a great way to still get that wide-eyed look in one product.
~ The Porefessional is great. I've managed to stay loyal to my Hourglass primer, but that one is also more expensive. The formula feels very similar, and it also wears the same too. Overall, I would buy a full size.

Have you girls tried any of these?

Quite possibly my favorite necklace combination!

Just a casual look from Friday, wearing a pair of flats that I purchased in Maui during our honeymoon :) I found them online much to my surprise, and I highly recommend them! They are so comfortable girls! So if you're in the market for some fun black and white flats...

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I've always been a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl, but I've never been much into graphic tees. Not sure why really, I guess I just never knew how to style one. My Fall uniform is simple, so throwing on an otherwise basic tee and layering a classic blazer over it is the perfect way for me to embrace the trend without going outside of my comfort zone. Plus, I am feeling very loved lately and I'm not afraid to show it.

Wearing: Loft sweater, Loft skirt, H&M scarf, BCBG bag, TJMaxx bracelet, Halogen booties, Chanel Graphite polish

I wore my favorite Fall pieces out to dinner Friday night. I can't stress enough how comfortable these Halogen booties are! I was worried they would pinch my toes, but instead I felt like they actually molded to my feet and were extremely easy to walk in. I purchased them during the Nordstrom anniversary sale over Summer, and now that the weather has cooled down a bit here in California, I can finally wear them. I know I'll be reaching for them often.
Let's see...jewel tones, check! Leopard print, check! Fun new shoes, check! I love wearing all of my Fall favorites together.

How was your weekend?

Before I left for my honeymoon, I showed you a few things I've picked up in anticipation of Fall. Shopping during the months of September, October, and November are my personal favorite because I just love all of the beautiful jewel tones and textures that are displayed in store windows. I collect things little by little, and instead of buying a whole new wardrobe every season, I instead get a handful of key pieces that will maximize my wardrobe and update it just so to make it feel fresh.

This year is no different than last Fall. Jewel tones, dark neutrals, leopard, and lots of texture are what I gravitate towards. Here's a closer look at what I'm still craving.

Oh you know, an LV Neverfull would be nice as well :)

 Have a great weekend!
