I just don't know what it is with me and "Naked" palettes. I know the Too Faced version has been around just as long as Urban Decay's, but it wasn't until I went into Sephora last week that I finally took notice.

It comes with nine shadows, a little brush, and how-to cards that instruct you on different looks to try.

Now let's compare...

Did I really need this? No, of course not. But it came home with me anyway and my 20% off VIB coupon is to blame. I must say though, the shadows are gorgeous. I love that the Too Faced Naked Eye palette is much more cooler in tone then that of the Urban Decay. The quality is definitely comparable though. Both palettes contain smooth, pigmented, and easy to work with shadows that can be layered, mixed, and worn in a variety of ways. I've worn the top row of the Too Faced palette for three days straight and I love the look. Very easy to wear during the week.

Do you girls own the Too Faced Naked Eye Palette?

Lace top - Charlotte Russe (last year), Nude cami & mustard skirt - F21, Quilted peep toe pumps - Zara, Necklaces - Express & J Crew, Rings - Charlene K. & Engagement ring, Earrings - F21, Bag (not shown) - Chanel, Nails - Essie Cocktail Bling (love!)

I am obsessed with mustard. Not a color I've always liked, but I gravitate towards it a lot now. I think it's part of the whole autumn color palette I'm loving. I also think that it's a safe option since it is very close to neutral, and this skirt from Forever 21's love 21 line actual borders on camel in certain light. Chain necklaces, sparkly rings, and feminine lace were a natural pairing in deciding what to wear with this hot mustard skirt.

What color are you gravitating towards?

It has been freezing here the past couple of days! And when I say freezing, I mean about 50 degrees (yes, I'm fully aware that as a socal girl, I'm extremely spoiled and the least bit of cold makes me turn into a total baby).

I threw this on and although I love my Missoni for Target scarf, I needed something more for warmth.

Time to bust out the fur! Faux of course, because I would never wear the real thing.

(Minus the)  fur vest and slouchy white top - Express,  Jeggings - Banana Republic,  Boots - BP "Runway" Nordstrom, Earrings - F21, Bag - MNG Mango JCPenney, Nails - Essie Cocktail Bling, Engagement Ring
I also added a rose gold watch and my Tiffany's bracelet after I took these pics

I never thought I would like a fur vest on myself, but my horizons have expanded partly because of reading blogs and partly because of Rachel Zoe. Who doesn't want to emmulate their fashion icons? The key is finding something that works for you, and not trying to look like a carbon copy of someone else. The fact that I made it through the weekend without taking the vest off is a sign that I made a wise choice in buying it. I also stayed very warm. I lit some candles, sipped on a peppermint mocha, curled up with my honey, and watched re-runs of The Rachel Zoe Project. He likes Rachel too :)

I have so many different reds in my nail polish collection, and this is probably no news to anyone. However, most of my reds lean a bit; coral-red, burgundy, merlot, fuschia-red, orange-red. I love them all, but nothing is as truly red as this:

Isn't it such a true red? I love it because it goes opaque in one coat! I highly recommend this.
