I managed to wake up early on this Sunday morning and battled zero traffic. I love that about Sundays in my suburban town. It only took two visits to two separate Target stores to find the Mulberry For Target bag I have been lusting after:

The quality is alright. It isn't bad, but it definitely isn't the real thing either. I think it's PVC, but with a slight pebbled appearance. I have really been wanting a simple black bag this Fall, and this is a great option. I have already detached the heart key chain from it, because I don't like the look of it much. In my opinion, it takes away from the classic feel of Mulberry.

This one is already sold out! And according to target.com, it won't be back until November 14th:

Did you girls take a peek at the collection online? Are you planning on buying one? Let me know in your comments! Have a great Sunday!

  1. When I first heard about this collaboration, I was sooo excited! But I most likely won't be purchasing any of the bags. They don't wow me at all. They're not bad by any means - just nothing special IMO. The one you purchased is a very classic style, very nice.

  2. Jessica: I completely agree! I wasn't wowed by anything. I got the large tote because of its simplicity and practicality, and I'm sure it will serve as a nice staple for awhile. I still have my eyes on a couple other bags that I'd rather save up for... because I want to be wowed!

  5. Veronika: As I told Jessica, I agree! Nothing totally must-worthy, but still nice to have if you're looking for an inexpensive handbag. It's just holding me over until I can finally get one I absolutely adore!

    Ashley: You're welcome, happy shopping!

  6. I am a little disappointed I thought they would do a better job! And PVC? Yuck! They could've at least used a lower quality leather. I am still waiting patiently for the Lanvin collection :)

  9. I totally agree about the heart keychain thing! I love Mulberry bags for their easy yet structured, effortlessly classic look and the heart keychain ruins it! It makes the bags look very Juicy Couture! Yuck!

  10. I was really excited but not wowed by the collection -- cute, not heart-stopping.

  11. Thank you for the feedback girls! I think there is a general thought that the Mulberry for Target collabo isn't living up to the hype. I'm finding this with all of the Target designer collaborations lately. They need to step it up!

  13. Mere: Oh no, really? I'm so sorry Mere, I'm sure they will come back into stock on the website. I'm not sure how the actual stores are handling it. But hey, this particular collection wasn't stunning, so maybe it just wasn't meant to be. You'll find something else!

  14. Hey Noelle---I had to meet my mom just now and actually stopped by one near her house and they had the first bag pictured (only one left) so I picked it up. Agree its not the best quality but cute nonetheless. I'm pleased.

  15. Mere: Yay! I'm happy you grabbed one and are pleased with it. Hey, ya get whatcha pay for right? I love the little feet on the bottom. I think that's one detail that makes the bag a bit better overall. Oh and another great thing about it is that it's roomy enough to be a great overnight bag (I tested it out) =)

  18. You are so lucky! I under estimate the popularity of mulberry for target and most of them were sold out! I did purchase 2 and wrote a post about it.
