My love continues...

I was so excited to see Rachel on the cover of InStyle's Makeover issue for Fall. I really was, I think I actually squealed when I peeked inside my mailbox. It's no secret that I love her style. Nevermind the fact that she's a brunette and pint-sized. Yes, I am biased as I love to see what fellow petite girls are wearing. A natural Commraderie I feel with my shorter than average sisters. I can't help it! Years of being mistaken for a 12 year old are to blame.

It's a great issue, and I read it cover to cover, marking pages of certain looks/trends that I want to include in my own style for Fall. One thing that I loved about Ms. Bilson's article was this little known fact: "I know this sounds terribly shallow, but I've been mapping out my outfits for the next day every day since I was little." She goes on to say, "I have a very busy mind - there's constant chitter-chatter up there - but what I'm wearing the next day? That's definitely something that's always been in my head before I go to sleep at night." I can certainly relate to this! Can you?

A Little Inspiration

I'm taking inspiration from everyone right now, including some from the beautiful Andi. She just wrote a blog post about Spring fashion, and looks that are inspiring her while she's under the weather this week. Given that I've been under the weather too, I figured what better way to put a giant grin on my face than to look at gorgeous pictures of gorgeous clothes?  'Nuf said.

I am seriously tempted to try a maxi skirt or dress this year. I've never been drawn to them as I'm short and I thought they might make me look even smaller. Hmmmmmm....Olivia Palermo looks perfect.

Taylor Swift. I LOVE sweet floral dresses and nude pumps.

I'm not done with tights just yet! And to think I was afraid to wear them!

Kristin Cavallari just makes me want to work out. I love her turquoise necklace.

I also wanted to say thank you for all the kind words on my last post. I'm feeling much better since the accident. I'm just really sore and my neck is stiff, but the doctor told me I should feel more like myself starting next week.
