I was browsing the internet and came across this ultra-lux Chanel bag. I am determined to have my own one day. I adore the leather quilted versions as well. Even a small bag would do! One day...sigh...

At the start of the summer, I went on a hunt in Sephora looking for THE perfect bronzer. I was happy with my Benefit bronzer, but it also came with a highlighter and there wasn't enough of the actual bronzer. I was also satisfied with my MAC MSF in Global Glow, but it was just a bit too shimmery for an all-over bronzer. I wanted something a bit more matte. Enter, the Korres trio I stumbled upon while practically giving up on finding what I was specifically looking for - I can be very picky when I have something dead set in my head! The Korres trio came with a powder bronzer, a tinted moisturizer with an SPF of 30, and also a face primer to keep your look from melting in the hot summer sun. The entire reason for the purchase was really just for the beautiful matte bronzer in Sunglow Light. It suits my somewhat olive, yet still somewhat light complexion. It is exactly what I had wanted. It has manoi oil in it, which makes my skin feel buttery and smooth. And it blends amazingly into the skin, instead of just sort of resting on top and making pores stand out like saucers ;) No one wants that! The Watermelon Tinted Moisturizer and the Vitamin E Face Primer were added bonuses, as the trio cost $28...which happens to be the normal amount for just the bronzer itself! I am so thrilled with all 3 Korres products. They all feel soft on the skin, and they all last throughout the day with no touchups. It can be difficult for me to find products that last, because I have combination skin - oily in the t zone, but dry around my cheeks. I found that these 3 products don't make me look extra oily or extra dry either, which is impressive. I am definitely looking forward to trying more products from this line. I was on Temptalia.com the other day, and guess what? Korres is having a 3o% off sale on their website now through Sept. 15th! Using the code, Temptalia, I decided to purchase the Korres starter kit. It comes with a sampling of many of their best-selling skincare products, such as the Guava Body Butter, and the Primrose eye cream. If you are interested in finding more information about the entire Korres line, I strongly suggest visiting their new website at Korres.com or checking out some great product reviews at Temptalia.com. The products are free of mineral oils, making them suitable for acne prone skin. Many of the products are also organic and feature ingredients that nourish, restore, and protect the skin. So far, I feel nothing but love for this line!
It seems that everyone is doing this tag, and I wanted to join in on the fun :) I love reading these after all.

I have been obsessively keeping up with my fashion magazines as of late, and while browsing Barnes & Noble's vast selection of In Style, Glamour, and People, I have come up with a list of trends that we will all be seeing in stores this Fall. Here are my favorites:

* Ruffles - I am most excited about this, because I love the femininity of ruffles
* Bold color - Red, purple, even neon pink! Not sure if I can pull off the last one
* Lace - On everything from cardigans, dresses, and even accessories
* Vintage inspired jewelry - Fashion always looks to the past
* Animal print - I recently bought a leopard print cardigan
* Platform shoes - Much easier to walk in without toppling over!

These are just a few key pieces that I noticed in all of the magazines. Of course, i always say "Wear what makes you happy." Or, pick and choose from the trends that you like and are the most comfortable in.

Thank You for stopping by!

So I did a little shopping yesterday and wanted to share with you guys what I picked up. Everything was quite inexpensive, except for one item. I'll share that with you last. If anyone wants a review of any of the products I mention, let me know and I will be more than happy to. I have yet to test out anything though, but I definitely will soon! ok, onto my little shopping spree:

I went to Ulta because I had a coupon that allowed me to take off $3.50 from any $10.00 purchase. They were also having a buy two, get one free for many drugstore makeup brands. I chose NYX because I have heard a lot of great things about their cosmetics, and I wanted to give them a try.

I got a lipstick in Ceto, an eyeshadow trio in Lake Moss, two jumbo eye pencils in purple and pots and pans, and a lipgloss in Smokey Look.

*Smokey Look lipgloss, Ceto lipstick*

*Lake Moss eyeshadow trio* NOT Happy with these...they all look black!

I am excited to try these products. What is your opinion of NYX Cosmetics? I like how inexpensive everything was. I am also extra excited about the lip products. They feel so good on!I plan on wearing Smokey Look with a smokey eye ;)

I also bought a Sally Hansen eye trio in Amethyst. These purple colors are so wearable and pretty. Then I got a Maybelline eyeshadow quad in Velvet Crush. This is the first time I have bought eyeshadows from Maybelline, and I am looking forward to creating different looks with just one pallete.

While at Ulta, I decided to get some hair products. I bought the Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray to protect my hair from the heat of my blowdryer and flat-iron. I also bought the Smoothing Lustre Lotion from Got2be. It smells like candy! I hope these products do what they claim to do.

Now on to my last favorite purchases! I stopped by my mecca (Forever 21) and bought THE PERFECT dress for my upcoming 25th. It isn't something I would normally gravitate towards because it has a print! Imagine that! But it is just so fun and flirty. It reminds me of a hot Miami night! It is a strapless chiffon dress with tiers of ruffles cascading down. It is so colorful, I think it will be perfect for my special night out in a few weeks. I plan on wearing it with gold accessories. Sorry for the poor lighting.

And lastly, I went to Nordstrom and bought the cutest little silver bow necklace from Juicy Couture. I am so in love with it!

Thank you for stopping by my blog!
