Last week, I started my last year of college, woo-hoo! Finally! I cannot wait to be a college graduate and obtain my bachelor's degree after years of studying, writing, and stressing! The only problem with this semester is that I have a four hour gap in between classes. Ugh! Instead of doing something productive with that time, I undoubtedly wind up going shopping off-campus. Not good! But I did manage to go to the Nordstrom Rack a couple exits down the freeway from school, and I am so happy that I did. I found the coolest pair of Michael Kors platforms! They are black patent leather, with cork high heels. The heels are so high, but they are actually very comfortable because of the platform feature. This is my first pair of "designer" shoes and I am addicted! They were originally 150 dollars, reduced to 82 dollars, then reduced again to 54. What a steal! I am planning on wearing these tomorrow night when my boyfriend takes me out for my bday :)

It's hard to tell, but they say "Micheal Kors" on the back of each heel

P.S. Does anyone have an addiction to fashion t.v.? I love Rachel Zoe on Monday nights on Bravo, Project Runway on Thursdays on Lifetime(tonight!) and What Not to Wear Friday nights on TLC.

As always, thank you for stopping by!

My last trip to Sephora resulted in only one measly purchase: Sephora by O.P.I. in "Underneath my Trench Coat." Even the sales girl commented on how pretty this nail shade will be for Fall. It is different from any other color I own, which is why I had to get it. It's a taupey-brown with light gold shimmer. It has such a soft, pretty sheen. It has definitely put me in the mood for Fall! I also want to rave about the Sephora by O.P.I. polishes. The brush is so narrow, making application a breeze. And the formula is so creamy and smooth. I want to buy a bottle in as many colors as possible!

I appreciate your comments!

I have recently been experimenting with false eyelashes, and I must say that the old cliche of "practice makes perfect" is really true. I clumsily applied my first set a few months ago, when girls on YouTube were inspiring me to give them a try. Well, I failed miserably my first time around! I applied them way too high on my eyelids and looked like a total mess! Frustrated, I had my best friend apply a set for me one afternoon while we were getting ready for her 24th birthday party. When I looked into the mirror after she had finished, I was taken aback by how my eyes stood out. I was not blessed with long, full lashes. No, mine are short and rather sparse. I always curl the heck out of them though, and use many coats of black mascara so often I am satisfied with the way they look. But there is nothing like a nice set of falsies ;) And I am actually getting better and better at applying them! I'm no expert, and I only wear them on special occasions but I am very pleased at my recent progress. If anyone knows of any special tricks or techniques that makes the process even easier, please share them with me...For now, I'll keep practicing!

~Now I can apply them by myself...sort of~

Am I the only one who has had issues with this? Hmmmmm...Happy Friday!

I have been wanting to review this for quite awhile now, but I wanted to use it for a long period of time so I could really test it out. Before I give my pros, cons, and my final verdict, I want to ask you for any recommendations you may have about a good eye cream. I just received my Korres package(FINALLY!) in the mail yesterday, and it came with a small vial of the Primrose eye cream, so I will be testing that out as well. Recently, I have been getting horrible bags under my eyes, especially underneath my right eye. I am not sure if it's from lack of sleep or stress, but I notice it in pictures a lot lately, and it drives me insane! I never used to have puffy eyes, and now I can't seem to get rid of them! Hence, why i decided to try the Garnier Anti-Puff Eye Roller. I picked it up at CVS about four months ago for around ten dollars. I am not sure what the price of it is now, but I think it varies depending on what store you go to and what area you live in. I was hoping it would get rid of my bags...Here are my thoughts:

~Pros: The applicator is a little roller-ball, and it feels nice and soothing when applied under the eye area.
The actual product is very cooling. It feels nice on a long, hot day.
The packaging sort of sucked me in. I love the sleekness of it. It does not take up much space in my vanity.

~Cons: This does absolutely nothing for my bags. Yes, the cooling gel feels nice, but it does not diminish the look of bags under the eye area. I used this religiously every morning and every night, and after three months I still saw no results. I have quit using this almost entirely, except on really hot days when I want a cooling sensation on my face.

Verdict: You are better off using tea bags, cucumber slices, or a frozen bag of peas to help with eye puffiness! I will continue looking for a good eye product, because the Garnier Anti-Puff Eye Roller isn't it!

Have a wonderful day everyone!
