This past month completely flew by! I can't believe it's almost Christmas...where does the time go? Anyway, I want to share my monthly favorites, which happens to be my favorite posting every month.

Makeup Loves:
* MAC Mineralize blush in Superdupernatural: The name describes it perfectly - the most amazingly natural blush I have ever encountered. It isn't too much, or too little. It can be layered very easily if you want a more intense color payoff. I usually just do a couple swipes with my MAC 187 brush. I was never a huge fan of the mineral blushes until the Holiday collection came out last month. I always thought that they were too shimmery, but this one is exceptionally beautiful, and it isn't glittery at all. Just enough to warm up the face. I also went back and got the other mineralize blush from the collection in Conjure Up. I have yet to use it though, because I can't put this one down!
* NYX jumbo pencil in Black Bean: At night when I like to do my usual smokey eye, I layer black bean on top of UDPP. It intensifies my smokey shadows and gives them an extra base to stick to so my eye makeup won't budge all night. Which brings me to...
* MAC e/s in Smoke and Diamonds: I have been using this like crazy on the weekends! I still can't decide what color to classify it as because it can look charcoal in some lighting and taupey brown in other lighting. Whatever color it is, I think it's beautiful! I hate mentioning a product that isn't permanent, but 9 times out of 10, Smoke and Diamonds is on my lids every Friday and Saturday night ;)
* Again another MAC product, Nude Rose l/s: You girls know how obessesed I became trying to track one of these down! It seemed hopeless, until one day I finally got lucky! I am so happy I was able to find it, because I LOVE IT.
* Sonia Kashuk blending sponge: I have been using this to apply my foundation for months now, and I don't know why I haven't mentioned it before. I love the way this gives me that airbrushed look. I know some people have mentioned their sponge falling apart, but for whatever reason, mine is still good as new.

Hair Loves:
* Aussie Sydney Smooth Conditioner: It does what it claims - keeps my frizzy hair from becoming...well, frizzy!
* Back to Basics Leave-In Conditioner with Sunflower: I spray this on before blow drying, and I can tell it has restored a lot of lost moisture back into my hair. It also helps with static, which is good when you live in desert like conditions as I do.

Fashion Loves:
* My black knee high boots from Forever 21: They are so comfortable, as the heel is only three inches and very sturdy. And I love the red bottoms! I know it is a cheap imitation of the infamous Christian Louboutins, but they are so cute!
* Super skinny jeans from American Eagle Outfitters: Ok, so these are super super skinny! I mean, they are practically leggings they are so tight. Only at the ankles though. The bottom is still roomy enough for a girl like me ;) And of course the sole reason for buying them was so that I could fit them into my boots.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and it wasn't too boring this month! Happy Sunday
Oh and what do you think of my new background? Better than before?

For a long time now, I have been dying to buy a tweed jacket. I keep seeing them online at Forever 21, but I have yet to find one in the actual store. I blame Chanel for my obsession, as I blame Chanel for most of my fashion obsessions ;)

Here is the real thing, from https://www.katsluxury.com/

And here is a tweed jacket from http://www.forever21.com/. I actually like the black better:

Nothing compares to Chanel, but any nice looking tweed jacket will do! I'm still on the hunt...

I have a quick question girls: How do you label your pictures with your blogger name on them? I am assuming this is so others cannot use or post your pictures elsewhere, without your consent. Do you think it is necessary? I am still new to this blog world, so there is a lot I have yet to figure out. I am not very computer savvy as it is ;) So any advice or tips would be great! Thanks

I thought I would share with you girls my top 5 eyeliner pencils. I swear I can't live without eyeliner. I would choose it over lipstick, eyeshadow, even mascara! I just feel completely naked without a line defining my eyes and making them stand out. These are my top picks because of the colors and also the formulas.

top to bottom: Revlon Luxurious color eyeliner in Pewter, L'oreal Hip Chrome Liner in Violet Volt, MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy, Clinique Quickliner in New Black, MAC Kohl Power in Feline.

L to R: Feline, New Black, Teddy, Violet Volt, Pewter

~Feline is my absolute favorite because it is so black and ultra creamy. Violet Volt is also supremely creamy. In fact I think it is comparable to the Urban Decay 24/7 liners. Teddy and Pewter are just beautiful neutral colors that I wear on a daily basis. And New Black is a twist up liner so I never have to worry about sharpening it...I have re-purchased it several times.~

On a side note, this dual sharpener by NYX is amazing! It not only sharpens my NYX jumbo eye pencils that I use as bases, but it also has a smaller side that sharpens all of my regular eyeliners. I have tried many sharpeners that left my liners dull or broken, but this one does not do that at all.

If you would like an in-depth review of any of these, let me know! What liners do you love?

Recently, I have been obsessed with navy blue nail polish. It's not quite as stark as black, and yet not as expected as deep purple. I think it is a great alternative to both. I picked up an N.Y.C. polish in the color "chinatown" the other day at CVS and I am totally loving it. The formula is surprisingly creamy and smooth, and I didn't encounter too much hassle with the brush, although it is a little wide for my taste. The polish dried really fast, "in a New York minute." And I love the subtle shimmer of the deep blue color. I believe I only paid a couple bucks for it. Gotta love that! I am actually so impressed with the formula, that I definitely plan on buying more in the future!

What do you think?

I cannot get enough of this stuff! Every year around Thanksgiving, B&B Works brings out their limited edition Holiday collections. I know there are a few different scents, but the one that drives me to stock up every year like a mad woman is the body lotion in the scent Vanilla Bean Noel. I am a sucker for anything that smells like cake batter. The lotion isn't incredibly moisturizing, but it isn't drying either. I really just like the smooth consistency of it, as well as the scent of course. I am not exaggerating when I say I literally hoard this lotion. Once the holidays end and the collections go away for another year, I don't have to worry because I have bottles waiting for me underneath my bathroom sink =)

I compare the lotion to...

I got a request to swatch the mini pigments that I bought from the newest edition of MAC's "Magic, Mirth and Mischief" Holiday collection. I only own one regular MAC pigment in sunnydaze, and it is actually one of the same pigments that came in the Sexpot kit. I decided to get it anyway because I have been lusting after naked, chocolate brown, and dark soul for quite awhile now. And in my opinion, the minis are the perfect size! I have had sunnydaze for years now, and even though I love and wear it a lot, I still have yet to even make a real dent in it. So enough blabbing, on to the swatches:

These are the pigments outside their little box

I also want to mention that these are light swatches. I think they have good payoff, even though they are all very shimmery. Perfect for a night out! Or the upcoming holidays for that sexy, smoky, look.

As always, thanks for reading

Hey girls, I need some fashion advice on something: I recently bought a couple pairs of leggings, and I have no idea how to wear them. I have avoided this trend for a couple years now, but I gave in and now I have a black pair and also a pair that sort of looks like dark denim. They were cheap, so I don't necessarily feel guilty about getting them and having them sit in my closet. However, I really do want to feel comfortable and confident in them! I know leggings are not pants, so I want to make sure I don't feel too exposed.

So how do you girls wear them? What do you think of the trend in general? I think they are here to stay, especially this time of year. Your advice is greatly appreciated and honest opinion much needed
Thanks!

You eventually get it! If you read my "Kreative Blogger" post, you know that I have been searching high and low for a MAC Dsquared lipstick in Nude Rose. I went on MakeupAlley, but no luck there. I searched on Ebay, but the bids were insanely high. I called MACPRO, but they didn't have any left either. I lastly did a live chat with a Nordstrom representative, and although she was Super helpful, she could not locate one for me either. So I pretty much gave up and decided that because it was so popular, MAC would probably repromote it in a future collection.
So yesterday, I went to the Nordstrom by my school to check out the half-yearly sale. You girls should definitely go when you get a chance! They have great deals right now. Well after buying a dress and a wide belt, I decided to go upstairs and look at the MAC counter. I knew that asking about the nude rose l/s was pointless, but I went for it anyway. well...

They had ONE left! And the girl seriously had to DIG for it in the drawer! I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to have this in my possession. It's everything I thought it would be - a little nude, a little pink. My favorite combo!
I also got the mini pigment set in Sexpot. If you want to see swatches of those, let me know.

~Thanks for reading~

I decided to be a sailor girl this year, the same as last year ;) I honestly didn't have much time to get a costume together because I have been crazy busy with school. But I had a great Halloween with the best friend anyways. I unfortunately didn't take many pictures, only one actually! I wanted to post this mainly for Crystal's Halloween contest! I love her blog, and I'm sure you do too:
http://www.lipglossgossip.com/ Good luck to all the entries!

I wanted to go for a pin-up look. I felt sexy with red lips, lol. I usually wear pinky-nudes, so the red lips were a definite change!

Makeup used:

Face~ Clinique perfectly real foundation, NYX compact bronzer in "daydream of lanai", MAC superdupernatural mineral blush, Clinique stay matte powder

Eyes~ UDPP, MAC shadows in all that glitters, era, and grand entrance as a highlighter. Mac Feline eye pencil, CG LashBlast mascara, Ardell false lashes

Lips~ Chapstick, NYC l/s in sheer red, Sephora l/g in bronzed beauty

Hope you all had a great weekend!
