My last trip to Sephora resulted in only one measly purchase: Sephora by O.P.I. in "Underneath my Trench Coat." Even the sales girl commented on how pretty this nail shade will be for Fall. It is different from any other color I own, which is why I had to get it. It's a taupey-brown with light gold shimmer. It has such a soft, pretty sheen. It has definitely put me in the mood for Fall! I also want to rave about the Sephora by O.P.I. polishes. The brush is so narrow, making application a breeze. And the formula is so creamy and smooth. I want to buy a bottle in as many colors as possible!

I appreciate your comments!

I have recently been experimenting with false eyelashes, and I must say that the old cliche of "practice makes perfect" is really true. I clumsily applied my first set a few months ago, when girls on YouTube were inspiring me to give them a try. Well, I failed miserably my first time around! I applied them way too high on my eyelids and looked like a total mess! Frustrated, I had my best friend apply a set for me one afternoon while we were getting ready for her 24th birthday party. When I looked into the mirror after she had finished, I was taken aback by how my eyes stood out. I was not blessed with long, full lashes. No, mine are short and rather sparse. I always curl the heck out of them though, and use many coats of black mascara so often I am satisfied with the way they look. But there is nothing like a nice set of falsies ;) And I am actually getting better and better at applying them! I'm no expert, and I only wear them on special occasions but I am very pleased at my recent progress. If anyone knows of any special tricks or techniques that makes the process even easier, please share them with me...For now, I'll keep practicing!

~My best friend and I on her bday, first time wearing false lashes~

~Now I can apply them by myself...sort of~

Am I the only one who has had issues with this? Hmmmmm...Happy Friday!

I have been wanting to review this for quite awhile now, but I wanted to use it for a long period of time so I could really test it out. Before I give my pros, cons, and my final verdict, I want to ask you for any recommendations you may have about a good eye cream. I just received my Korres package(FINALLY!) in the mail yesterday, and it came with a small vial of the Primrose eye cream, so I will be testing that out as well. Recently, I have been getting horrible bags under my eyes, especially underneath my right eye. I am not sure if it's from lack of sleep or stress, but I notice it in pictures a lot lately, and it drives me insane! I never used to have puffy eyes, and now I can't seem to get rid of them! Hence, why i decided to try the Garnier Anti-Puff Eye Roller. I picked it up at CVS about four months ago for around ten dollars. I am not sure what the price of it is now, but I think it varies depending on what store you go to and what area you live in. I was hoping it would get rid of my bags...Here are my thoughts:

~Pros: The applicator is a little roller-ball, and it feels nice and soothing when applied under the eye area.
The actual product is very cooling. It feels nice on a long, hot day.
The packaging sort of sucked me in. I love the sleekness of it. It does not take up much space in my vanity.

~Cons: This does absolutely nothing for my bags. Yes, the cooling gel feels nice, but it does not diminish the look of bags under the eye area. I used this religiously every morning and every night, and after three months I still saw no results. I have quit using this almost entirely, except on really hot days when I want a cooling sensation on my face.

Verdict: You are better off using tea bags, cucumber slices, or a frozen bag of peas to help with eye puffiness! I will continue looking for a good eye product, because the Garnier Anti-Puff Eye Roller isn't it!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

I went to the mall with my mom last week and I wanted to share what I bought. It was all jewelry from Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe. The best part of finding these small treasures is how inexpensive they are, yet still very trendy and fashion forward. All items were under $8.00

These earrings will dress up any oufit. They catch the light beautifully.

I practically jumped for joy at the sight of this imitation Tiffany's Keys necklace. The keys are so delicate and look great against a basic top.

I actually bought these bangles from H&M. I fell in love with the aqua color.

I see little flower earrings like these everywhere! I gave in and finally bought my own pair ;) I'm sure I will wear these to class a lot.

I just love this necklace with the large flower on the side. It looks so elegant draped around the neck

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!

I was browsing the internet and came across this ultra-lux Chanel bag. I am determined to have my own one day. I adore the leather quilted versions as well. Even a small bag would do! One day...sigh...

At the start of the summer, I went on a hunt in Sephora looking for THE perfect bronzer. I was happy with my Benefit bronzer, but it also came with a highlighter and there wasn't enough of the actual bronzer. I was also satisfied with my MAC MSF in Global Glow, but it was just a bit too shimmery for an all-over bronzer. I wanted something a bit more matte. Enter, the Korres trio I stumbled upon while practically giving up on finding what I was specifically looking for - I can be very picky when I have something dead set in my head! The Korres trio came with a powder bronzer, a tinted moisturizer with an SPF of 30, and also a face primer to keep your look from melting in the hot summer sun. The entire reason for the purchase was really just for the beautiful matte bronzer in Sunglow Light. It suits my somewhat olive, yet still somewhat light complexion. It is exactly what I had wanted. It has manoi oil in it, which makes my skin feel buttery and smooth. And it blends amazingly into the skin, instead of just sort of resting on top and making pores stand out like saucers ;) No one wants that! The Watermelon Tinted Moisturizer and the Vitamin E Face Primer were added bonuses, as the trio cost $28...which happens to be the normal amount for just the bronzer itself! I am so thrilled with all 3 Korres products. They all feel soft on the skin, and they all last throughout the day with no touchups. It can be difficult for me to find products that last, because I have combination skin - oily in the t zone, but dry around my cheeks. I found that these 3 products don't make me look extra oily or extra dry either, which is impressive. I am definitely looking forward to trying more products from this line. I was on Temptalia.com the other day, and guess what? Korres is having a 3o% off sale on their website now through Sept. 15th! Using the code, Temptalia, I decided to purchase the Korres starter kit. It comes with a sampling of many of their best-selling skincare products, such as the Guava Body Butter, and the Primrose eye cream. If you are interested in finding more information about the entire Korres line, I strongly suggest visiting their new website at Korres.com or checking out some great product reviews at Temptalia.com. The products are free of mineral oils, making them suitable for acne prone skin. Many of the products are also organic and feature ingredients that nourish, restore, and protect the skin. So far, I feel nothing but love for this line!
